4 books in 1 week...so worth it....

Many of you have probably read the Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer. I read them all a year ago and then decided to pick them up and re-read them last week to remind myself what they were all about before Breaking Dawn came out. I promise I'm not going to spoil anything, because that would be so rude of me if you hadn't read it yet! But I do want to know how you felt about the last book with a satisfaction rating of 1 to 5 and why! Let's hear it girls (and guys if there's any)! Oh yeah, my rating of overall satisfaction for Breaking Dawn is a 5. Because it answered all my questions and ended the way I wanted it...even if it did get a little bizarre in the middle!

I only read the first book. It kept my interest, but I didn't love it. I did have tons of questions at the end of the book. Maybe I should read all of them. When you read 4 books in one week, do you get into trouble for not doing the laundry and the dishes?

I give Breaking Dawn a 5! I loved it!! It answered all my questions too. It was just what I was hoping for. There were a few surprises in it but I thought they turned out to be great. I'm sad they are done:(

I give it a 5. I feel the same way about it as you. I was worried about how things would turn out with the whole love triangle thing, but she wrote it well. Half way through, I thought that I wouldn't like the book, but it ended up being really good. Are you going to see the movie?

K, I was so weirded out on so many levels for like the first 2/3 of the book. The constant sex talk was kind of fun to read (You know me, Brandy), though not for the 13-year-old audience. The whole "I am having a half-vampire baby, so I have to drink human blood" thing was so nasty and strange. The fact that the wolves imprint on little girls (I know it's not sexual, but still....). So I was so ready to give this book a horrible review.
Then I read the third book. I really started to love it then. With Alice disappearing adn leaving Bella clues. And all the new vampires and their serious skills. And Bella learning how to be a vampire. I was so excited that she finally got to be one - and have awesome super powers too. A little disappointed that they didn't end up actually fighting the Volturri, but in the end, I really liked the last part of the book. And I also ended up being glad that Jacob imprinted on Renesmee. I'm wondering if that will be a spin-off book.
OK, so now that I wrote a novel about it... sorry. i just finished it yesterday and I'm still thinking about it.

I re read all of them too before breaking dawn came out. I will have to say, I will give breaking dawn a 4. I did really enjoy it but wish the ending would have gone a bit differently. maybe a bit more action or something but after reading stephanie meyers notes about the book, I understand why she did the ending the way she did. More of a mental battle than actual battle... I just wish numero 5 would come out.
