Friend Baby Shower...

Okay so THANK YOU everyone who came to the shower last night! It was so much fun to see all of you and be able to visit! It's been practically since Nat's bridal shower since we've all got together and we should all start doing it more often!An even BIGGER THANKS to my shower throwers Katy & Nat

Opening presents...we did not get a normal picture of me doing this! I'm just making terrible faces in all of them! I also decided to forgo the picture of all the cute presents laid out after the shower! Corey was against me making a giant mess in the house! But I got tons of awesome gifts that are so practical...diapers, wipes, lotions, body wash, towels, books, outfits, onesies, socks, headbands, medicines, burp rags, nursing cover, sling, etc! It has definitely helped us be more prepared for when baby comes!

Oh Christmas Tree....

I know we're kind of slow, but I'm not one of those "day after Thanksgiving" put up the tree kind of people! So we just went and picked one out last night for FHE and decorated it! I think it turned out really pretty and now our home feels like Christmas! And we're wishing you a fun filled, relaxing Christmas Season!

The Avent Isis IQ Duo Breast Pump

****JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS THESE ARE NOT HAND PUMPS****
Do you think I'm crazy??? I want it to be fast...I like these because they actually mimic the suction of the baby that you can set or reset anytime, I just wondered if anyone had heard anything on them!




I'm totally clueless about this whole breastfeeding thing...and I have decided that I want a pump because I want Corey to feed plus I don't want baby to not take a bottle. So I've been doing some research, and I know some of you recommended the Medela Pump in Style, but I found this pump and it sounds kind of awesome! Then again awesome to a someone who's never done it, compared to someone who has may be slightly different! So let me know if you've heard anything about it or read about it and tell me what you think! Thanks...again...for all the help!

Twilight the movie = Lame

I just saw Twilight tonight....and with low expectations I still thought it was lame! Anyone else?

My first baby shower....

Yesterday my family threw our first baby shower and it was so much fun! I'm so grateful to Natalie who threw the shower for me...she did such an amazing job! And I'm also grateful to everyone who came, it was so fun to see everyone! Warning...many pictures to follow....we were so spoiled!

Oh how time flies...

Here we are, another body update post, the time is going by so fast and the months are just flying by!

6 Months

(I swear that white isn't slimming at all I look HUGE!)

We really haven't been up to much and I feel like I need to apologize for not posting anything exciting forever! And for not being a very good commenter...but I haven't felt like blogging lately! So Sorry! But we've got some fun things coming up so I'll be posting a little more regularly for all of you who care! Oh, but I can tell you all that I had a dream last night that our Baby Girl Monson weighed in at 10 lbs 3 oz and was as long as two couch cushions....weird...and it sorta freaked me out! Hopefully that will not be the case because we'd have a toddler and not a baby !

soccer, not my favorite sport...

Today I was informed that apparently my uterus is about the size of a soccer ball....what? If there's a "soccer ball" inside of me, where the heck are my other vital organs??? I guess if they aren't protruding out my belly button then I shouldn't be worried! However, that might explain some of the discomfort!
